Search On For Suspects Who Tried To Lure Child In Suffern, Police Say

Police are on the hunt for the suspects who allegedly attempted to lure a child into a vehicle in Suffern

The Suffern Police Department reported that a person in a vehicle attempted to lure a boy to a vehicle.

The incident took in the early afternoon Saturday in the Foxwood area of Suffern while a boy was walking his dog, the Suffern Police said on Facebook.

According to the post, the child told police a dark-colored vehicle, possibly a sedan, pulled up next to him and a female passenger told him to get in the car.

The child immediately ran away into his residence and advised his family what had transpired and they contacted the police department.

The incident is currently under investigation at this time.
